Has anyone ever shopped at Garden Ridge store?

I want to go somewhere to buy cheap item to decorate my entire home. Someone told me about this place. I have never been there. Wanted to know what does this place sells and is it beneficial and affordable.

Has anyone ever shopped at Garden Ridge store?
Garden Ridge has a great selection of dishes and table linens and lots of nice mirrors and wall art. I have bought a few lamps there and am happy with them but will not buy any type of furniture there as the construction and materials are very poor quality. They have great decorative accents like planters and vases but again,the quality isn't the best. I also bought many many quilts there on sale and as long as I wash them carefully,they hold up well. They are pretty but not valuable like American made quilts. If you like silk plants and flowers,you will not find a better selection than theirs.
Reply:I personally don't like anything they have but the pots to put big plants in......to decorate, go to the discount places like TJMax, Marshalls, Tuesday Mornings, .......garden ridge is not inexpensive..it just doesn't costs much because it is mainly junk as far as decorating goes....good luck
Reply:Yes.. Garden ridge is very affordable and they offer a large selection of floral s,mirrors, rugs anything that would be great as home decor. I am a interior designer I use them often Happy shopping
Reply:I just recently shopped there. I thought it was very reasonable. They have anything from fake plants, rugs, furniture, dishes, sheets, comforters, kitchen stuff, bathroom stuff, home decor... you name it they have it..... Hope that helps! Have a great weekend!
Reply:i love garden ridge. they have anything you can image from bedding to fake plants. anything that you could use to furnish the outside of your home or inside. they even sell windows. i find that most all the furnishings are pretty reasonable however the best time to go is when the seasons are changing and you can pick up some really good deals for the next year.
Reply:It's pretty cool.Let's go there together(-;
Reply:Never heard of it, however, I did type in www.gardenridge.com in my search bar, and it did show up for their website, if that helps you any.
Reply:Garden Ridge sells factory seconds and overstock from other stores. You can find some great bargains there.

Some of the items are a bit "off" because they are factory seconds; ie: mistakes. Usually they are problems with paint, chipping, construction errors, etc. If you are willing to do a little work to these items, you will have some great things to display in your home.

I found a 5x3 factory second mirror with a floral relief, resin, frame there that had a truly horrendous paint job for about $25. I took it apart, re-painted it to match my bathroom, and gold leafed the highlighting in the frame. After putting it back together, I hung it on the back of the bathroom door.

Overstock is usually the stuff that all the major brand stores sold last year, but couldn't get rid of on the sale isle at the end of the season. That could actually work in your favor too. I often find things there that are no longer sold at other stores. Many of these items are so unusual that they will appeal to almost anyone with ecclectic tastes.

There is also the usual decor stuff. Fake plants, crafting supplies, pots, lamp kits, and the like. It is sort of like shopping at Big Lots and Hobby Lobby under the same roof...

On a scale of 1-10, I'd give Garden Ridge an 8. If you don't want to deal with factory seconds, about a 6...
